Knowing who does what and having a good relationship with your dental team means you can take better care of your mouth and feel comfortable asking questions about any treatment you might need.
Our dentists
Our dentists are at the forefront of our services, delivering a wide range of dental check ups and treatments to help you keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. From routine check ups to veneers, whitening and teeth straightening, our dentists are here to deliver the highest quality of oral health care to all patients.
If you are booked in for a check up or any kind of dental treatment, you will always see one of our dentists and they will most likely be accompanied by one of our dental nursing team.
Our hygienists
Our hygienists provide a vital role within the dental team, offering their advice and guidance on preventing dental problems by showing you how to clean your teeth and gums properly. They will also carry out cleaning and polishing treatments to give you that squeaky clean feeling in your mouth. You’ll often see the hygienist after your check up, maybe on the same day or at another time, depending on how your appointment has been booked.
Our dental nurses
Our dental nurses are here to support our team of dentists and to make sure that our patients feel comfortable, informed and reassured. Whilst you are examined by one of our dentists, our dental nurses will be making notes and updating your patient record. They will ensure that everything is in the room ready for your appointment and will assist the dentist whilst they carry out treatments.
The rest of our dental team
In addition to our dentists, nurses and hygienists, you may also meet other members of our team, depending on the treatment you need. For example, if you are apprehensive about seeing the dentist or are having any invasive treatments you may see our medical sedationist. If you are having implants or restorative treatments you will see our endodontic and periodontic specialist.
