Take the #MouthProudChallenge and Tell Us If You’re Proud of Your Teeth

20th March marks World Oral Health Day, an annual awareness day designated to promote the importance of good oral health. Every year, dentists and other oral health professionals unite to help increase awareness about oral diseases, most of which are preventable, and help individuals to take action to look after their teeth and gums and thus reduce their risk of oral health complications.

This year we are asking you to get involved by taking the #MouthProudChallenge to tell us if you are proud of your teeth and why. The challenge is a global initiative, as part of this year’s World Oral Health Day and encourages people to share what they are doing to value and take care of their mouths.

How can you get involved?

Use the online poster tool on the World Oral Health Day website or a filter on Facebook or Instagram to upload your photos to social media, showing you doing something that makes you #MouthProud. This might include:

  • Opting for healthy snacks rather than sugary treats
  • Brushing your teeth
  • Using floss or interdental brushes
  • Visiting us for your dental check up

If you are visiting Riverside Dental Spa for your dental check up or hygienist appointment why not tag us in and share your images across social media to show how you are looking after your oral health. Use @riversidedentalspa on Facebook or @riverside_dental_spa on Instagram to tag us into your pictures and show off your healthy smile!

Use the following hashtags and encourage your friends to share so we can spread positive oral health messages far and wide:

#WOHD22 #MouthProudChallenge #GoMouthProud

We look forward to seeing your images on social media and to welcoming you into our practice to ensure you can continue being proud of your teeth.
