4 Ways to Improve Your Smile in 2020

4 Ways to Improve Your Smile in 2020

The start of a new year is a time for change for many people. After a long period of overindulgence at Christmas, we strive to better ourselves by setting goals for the months ahead, and these typically centre around improving our appearance through weight loss. However, new year’s resolutions aren’t just restricted to going to the gym, as they can also involve improving your smile. But what are the best methods of doing this?

Being able to smile with confidence is a wonderful thing, which is why more and more people are having orthodontic treatment to improve their smile. There are a wide variety of treatments available, though, so it’s difficult to know which one suits your needs and budget.

In this blog, we make this decision a bit easier by discussing the best options available to you.

Dental Veneers

Veneers, which are thin porcelain shells that fit over the surface of your teeth, are a great treatment for teeth that have become discoloured, chipped or cracked. If you feel that your teeth are unsightly, veneers are a long-lasting, natural way of improving your smile.

At Riverside Dental Spa, we offer a wide variety of treatments, which only require one procedure and produce fantastic results.

Teeth Whitening

If you’re happy with the overall look of your teeth, but feel that they have become discoloured over time, you could look to have a teeth whitening treatment to restore the sparkle in your smile.

We offer two types of teeth whitening treatments at Riverside Dental Spa; Zoom Whitening Treatment and Enlighten Teeth Whitening. Both treatments are extremely popular and very similar in terms of price and results.

The main difference between them is that the Zoom treatment can be done with just one visit to an orthodontist. Whereas, the Enlighten treatment takes up to two to four weeks to complete.

Invisible Clear Braces

Alternatively, you might not like your smile because your teeth are crooked, and you want them to be straight.

Many people are put off by traditional treatments, like ‘train track ’ braces, because they are unsightly and uncomfortable. If you find yourself in this predicament, we recommend that you have an Invisible Brace treatment, as they offer a much more discreet and gentle approach to teeth straightening.

At Riverside Dental Spa, we offer two teeth straightening treatments; Invisible Clear Aligners and Six Month Smiles. Similar to the teeth whitening treatments, both of these treatments are extremely effective and are similar in price.

What differentiates the two treatments is that Invisible Clear Aligners are a clear and removable mouthguard, and Six Month Smiles are an invisible fixed brace system. Therefore, before choosing your preferred treatment, you should do some research into which one best suits your needs.

Dental Implants

Lastly, if missing teeth are spoiling your look, Dental Implants are the ideal remedy for you. They are a permanent alternative to dentures and can last a lifetime with the correct treatment.

Where the procedure for veneers is very straightforward, the installation of dental implants is much more complex, as it requires fixing a screw to your jawbone, which acts as a base for crowns and bridges.

At Riverside Dental Spa, our skilled team of orthodontists take pride in being able to help people smile with confidence. We offer a range of treatments, from teeth whitening to veneers, to bring a smile to your face in 2020.
